Actor Tom Sizemore is being sued by a Utah woman who says he groped her on a movie set in 2003 when she was an 11-year-old child actress.
The unidentified woman, who is now in her mid-20s, says the incident on the set of 2005’s Born Killers (not to be confused with the 1994 hit Natural Born Killers) left her with post-traumatic stress and drug and alcohol addiction. She is seeking at least $3 million in damages.
When the story first broke in November, Sizemore denied the “highly disturbing” allegation, saying he would never inappropriately touch a child.
Sizemore spokeswoman Michelle Salem did not immediately return phone and email messages seeking comment regarding the lawsuit.
Salt Lake City police investigated the woman’s claim in 2003, but prosecutors didn’t file charges at the time, citing witness and evidence problems.
Sizemore’s career has included prominent roles in 1998’s Saving Private Ryan and 2001’s Black Hawk Down, but he’s been dogged by drug abuse and domestic violence arrests.
