First lady Melania Trump has seen a surge in support and popularity in recent weeks, according to a new CNN poll.

In a poll released last week by SSRS, 57% say they have a favorable impression of the first lady. The numbers are up from 47% in January. This is the highest number Melania Trump has experienced in a CNN poll and has a higher favorability rating than her husband, President Donald Trump.

Mrs. Trump has also seen an increase in favorability from Democrats, up 15% from January. She is up 6% with Republicans. She has risen 7% among men and 13% among women. The jump in favorability could be due, in part, to the fact that the president has been under intense scrutiny recently regarding several stories of infidelity during their marriage.

Melania Trump is preparing to launch a new intiative Monday morning.
