Want to survive the apocalypse? Televangelist Jim Bakker has a condo in Blue Eye, Missouri he’d like to sell you.
Don’t want to move? Bakker has survival gear that can help you out where you are.
For the past 15 years, the controversial TV minister has been quietly building a little city in the Ozarks which he says is the “safest place to live” in these troubled times. Speaking on the Jim Bakker Show, he touted the benefits of moving to the mountains, saying, “Do you know the people from the government, from NASA, the research from so many of them, they have said in their research that the safest place to live in troubled times is right here. That’s why God brought us here.”
Bakker says he has some of “God’s generals” living at his compound, and wants more “people on fire for God” to move in.
The televangelist has also been promoting his survival gear, including: a six-pack of water bottles that costs $150 and non-perishable food items. He says his Missouri community also has an amphitheater and a chapel.
