Politicians Offer to Hire Andrew McCabe So He Can Collect His Federal Pension

Ousted FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe could still obtain his pension with a little help from House Democrats.

Lawmakers in Wisconsin and Massachusetts are scheming to hire the fired G-man for at least two days. That would be enough time for McCabe to obtain the federal retirement funds he would have received after serving more than two decades with the nation’s top law enforcement agency.

One of his employment suitors, Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wis.), asked for McCabe to “call me.”

“I could use a good two-day report on the biggest crime families in Washington, D.C.,” Pocan tweeted Saturday.

Jokes aside, the lawmaker said in a later statement that he had a “legitimate offer” for McCabe to “work on election security.”

“He deserves the full retirement that he has been promised, not to have it taken away as a result of the President’s political games,” Pocan added.
