Pastor Cynthia Mccullough Who Claims She’s Suffering From a ‘Severe and Debilitating’ Disease Is Sued by Her Insurer New York Life After She Was Spotted in Photos Playing Skee-Ball and Going Down an Inflatable Slide

A pastor in North Carolina who claims to have a ‘severe and debilitating’ disease is being sued by her insurer after she was photographed playing Skee-Ball and going down a slide.

Cynthia McCullough, who lives in Charlotte, told New York Life her rare chronic pain condition – reflex sympathetic dystrophy – was so extreme that it prevented her from washing or dressing and left her in need of constant home care.

But after finding photographs of McCullough apparently looking very flexible on her church’s website, the insurance company filed a lawsuit to get its money back.

McCullough has been paid roughly $389,500 since 2010 as part of her policy with New York Life, the Charlotte Observer reports.

The firm, which filed the suit on Friday, also claimed it had seen McCullough moving around with ease during surveillance in 2016 and 2017.
