White House communications director Hope Hicks is reportedly scheduled to testify in front of the House Intelligence Committee on Tuesday as part of that panel’s Russia investigation. According to CBS News, lawyers at the White House and the committee were negotiating the “scope” of Hicks’ testimony. Those negotiations prompted the delay of Hicks’ initially scheduled appearance in January. Hicks has been with Trump since his time as a businessman at the Trump Organization, and she served in senior roles on the Trump campaign and the presidential transition.
