The Rev. Tommy Nelson will welcome well-known evangelical pastor, the Rev. Dr. Tony Evans to the lectern at Denton Bible Church for the 9 and 11 a.m. worship services on Feb. 11.

That same morning, Nelson will preach at Evans’ church, Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship.

The pulpit exchange brings Evans to Denton to preach, drawing from his 40 years as the senior pastor at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship. Evans has a radio show, “The Alternative with Dr. Tony Evans,” and has seen his Oak Cliff church grow from 10 people in 1976 to more than 10,000 congregants and 100 ministries today.

Evans is an author and serves as president of The Urban Alternative, a national ministry.
