AT&T announced Wednesday that it will suspended its partnership with USA Gymnastics over the Larry Nassar case, making it the fifth major brand to distance itself from the organization since the former team doctor’s rampant abuse of female athletes made headlines. Hershey, Kellogg’s, Procter & Gamble, and Under Armour have all suspended deals or refused to renew sponsorships. AT&T said in a statement on Tuesday that it would only entertain resuming its partnership with the organization if and when USA Gymnastics “is re-built and we know that the athletes are in a safe environment. The terrible abuse suffered by these young women is unconscionable.”
