Jada Pinkett-Smith is taking on a new project and it’s a bit different from her usual television and film ventures. According to Deadline, the Girls Trip star is preparing to enter the talk show world. It has been reported that the actress/producer is preparing to launch a Facebook talk show with her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and her daughter Willow.
‘Red Table Talks’:
The ladies have reportedly inked a deal with Facebook for Red Table Talks. The three will reportedly discuss a number of important topics with an emphasis on it being “social and timely with an inter-generational family talk show format.” According to the report, the show will be produced by Ellen Rakieten, Miguel Melendez, and Pinkett Smith. While we all know there are lots of talk shows and podcasts on television and on the internet, Pinkett-Smith and her family will most likely bring a bit of much-welcomed diversity to the equation with their inter-generational platform which will feature views and perspectives that a wide age range of viewers can relate to. The series is described as “an intimate and honest conversation about love, life, fame, and family.”
For the past couple years, Jada Pinkett-Smith, her mother, and Willow have gathered for social media chats. Fans have often shared their opinion of the segments and many have found their discussions to be quite moving. “Great idea if you can get the honesty without anyone trying to kill someone. LOL That’s what would happen in my family. I wish we could do this though.” Another viewer commented, “The preview is moving.” Said another, “Can’t wait to see the whole thing.”
It’s obvious fans are looking forward to hearing what these ladies will bring to the table. Jada and the ladies appear to have a lot in store for 2018. Congratulations to Jada, her mother, Adrienne, and Willow!
