Teen Boy Charged With Killing His Girlfriend’s Parents

A 17-year-old is charged with murdering his girlfriend’s parents, according to family members and police.

Buckley Kuhn-Fricker, 43,  and Scott Fricker, 48, died of gunshot wounds after being shot in their home by the unnamed teenager early Friday morning, according to Fairfax County Police. The suspect, whose name is being withheld because he is a minor, is in the hospital in life-threatening condition after sustaining self-inflicted injuries, according to police.

The couple had two children, a 16-year-old girl and a nine-year-old boy.

According to the Washington Post, Kuhn-Fricker recently discovered private tweets on her daughter’s phone that appeared to be anti-Semitic. She believed the tweets were connected to her daughter’s boyfriend, and contacted the principal of the school her daughter and the boyfriend attended, the Post reported.

Janet Kuhn, Kuhn-Fricker’s mother, told the Post that her daughter believed the boyfriend was trying to push white supremacist ideologies. Kuhn told the paper that the family held an intervention with her granddaughter last week and believed the relationship was over.

Kuhn told the paper Kuhn-Fricker and Fricker found the teen in their home early Friday, and he shot them.
