Law enforcement in Louisville, KY, and the surrounding area are struggling to address a rise in violent crimes. Meanwhile area pastors and church leaders have launched a week-long event seeking a spiritual solution to the crisis.
Billed as “Revival for Survival,” the event will be held every evening at Philippian Baptist Church beginning Monday, October 30th.
A church official told WHAS 11, “There’s been meeting after meeting after meeting – year after year after year. People say we’ve got to make a difference. We’re in day and age in which this is not only affecting the adults but this is affecting our children.”
