Morgan Freeman is reportedly poised to play Colin Powell in an upcoming biopic about the former secretary of State.

The film, “Powell,” is set during the 80-year-old ex-Army general’s time as top diplomat in the George W. Bush administration, The Hollywood Reporter said Wednesday.

It’s not the first time Freeman, also 80, has played a top government official. The Academy Award winner — who voiced a 2016 ad for then-Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton — portrayed a fictional president in 1998’s “Deep Impact,” a Speaker of the House in the 2013 movie, “Olympus Has Fallen” who became vice president for 2016’s “London Has Fallen,” and a Supreme Court justice on CBS’s “Madam Secretary.”

No word on when the drama, directed by Reginald Hudlin of “Marshall,” will hit theaters.
