A 27-year-old woman who was shot in the head during last week’s Las Vegas shooting massacre emerged from a coma last week and took her first steps without assistance.
Twenty-seven-year-old Tina Frost made her steps without the assistance of nurses Friday. According to a post written by her mother on her GoFundMe, Tina took three steps to the chair and three steps back to the bed.
The post says that Tina, who is a Maryland native, also breathed on her own for six hours.
“We are so proud of our Tina, and everyone is amazed at every single movement she makes,” said the GoFundMe post.
Frost and her boyfriend drove from San Diego to attend the Route 91 Harvest Festival where Tina was shot in the head by Stephen Paddock, who killed 58 people and wounded hundreds. The bullet destroyed her right eye and forehead.
