
House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA), who was shot and seriously wounded at a June practice for the Congressional Baseball Game, threw out the first pitch on Friday night at the Nationals-Cubs playoff game. U.S. Capitol police special agent David Bailey, one of the two officers wounded in the June shooting, caught Scalise’s pitch.
