The National Black Church Initiative (NBCI), a faith-based coalition of 34,000 churches comprised of 15 denominations and 15.7 million African Americans, is trying to answer the nagging question, what is God saying to us amidst all of these crises – Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria, the nuclear standoff between America and North Korea, President Trump’s outrageous behavior, the mass shooting in Las Vegas and the earthquakes in Mexico.
Rev. Anthony Evans, President of the National Black Church Initiative says, “God has given me this message through divine revelation to call men, women and children back to Christ. I will always obey God through His revelations. When all of these tragedies unfold before your eyes, one has to ask what is going on, and this is why the Church is important because we provide the answers that you may or may not want to hear, but we will provide you with the answer and direction so that you do not have to be a victim of these tragedies. It is your responsibility as Christians to support ministries such as this and work with NBCI and your Church to save the unsaved.”
God is calling all of us to worship Him through prayer, obedience and church attendance and He is telling us that He is about to do something that will shake our very souls. He is calling us closer to Him and God is refusing to take no for an answer. The reason why is simple, He loves us, He wants us to be saved and He wants to give us every possible opportunity to be saved but if we refuse and adopt this world’s mentality that we know what is best for our souls then you will be going straight to hell.
You must accept Jesus as your Savior in order to receive a life in Christ that is not free from tragedy or pain, but a life that shows you that when you go through a tragedy that you will not go through it alone for God is with you every step of the way.
The outrageous behavior of President Trump and everything that is happening is a clear indication that God is tired of our nastiness and he intends to do something about it. Each of these incidents should force us onto our knees in prayer. This is why the National Black Church Initiative is calling one million Black men back to Christ and Church and for one million Prayer Warriors. We do not want anyone to miss out on the love and commitment of our Lord Jesus Christ and His tender ways, but if you refuse there is nothing we can do about that.
