Rick Warren said, “If you’re serious about being spiritually strong and mature, the greatest habit you can develop is memorizing Scripture. In fact, the Bible says in James 1:25 that it’s one of four habits that leads to a blessed life. You don’t want to be a spiritual baby anymore. It’s time to grow up and live the blessed life you’re meant to live. Hiding God’s Word in your heart is an important way to start.”
The Scripture verse we are going to hide in our hearts today is Proverbs 16:19 in the King James Version:
Proverbs 16:19 says:
Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
Holy Father God, we pray that all people would hide God’s Word in their hearts and that all people would trust Christ as Saviour. Amen.
God loves you. He loves you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the Cross for your sins. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” If you are not yet saved and would like to be, all you have to do is pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart today and He will.
