Hollywood couple Laurence Fishburne and Gina Torres have confirmed their split following 15 years of marriage.
Gina, 48, released an official statement revealing the pair had quietly parted ways last year, just after it was reported she had been caught on camera kissing an unknown man.
The picture emerged on website Page Six, and saw Gina gazing into the other man’s eyes, holding his face in her hands and kissing him tenderly.
The photos were snapped while the pair enjoyed lunch at outdoor LA eatery Sweet Butter cafe – with Gina’s wedding finger noticeably lacking a ring.
After the images surfaced online, Gina confirmed to People magazine: ‘With heavy hearts, Laurence and I quietly separated and began the dissolution of our marriage in the early fall of last year.
‘There are no bad guys here. Only a love story with a different ending than either one of us had expected.
‘Happily, however, our family remains intact and we will continue to raise our daughter together with love and joy and awe.
‘As well as raise each other up with respect and love and the continued understanding that we’re in this together, if not side by side.’
The report perhaps comes as less of a shock to those who’ll note that Gina and Laurence have not been seen in public together since Christmas 2015.
Gina also alluded to marital woes when she quit TV series Suits – which she starred in alongside Prince Harry’s girlfriend Meghan Markle – citing personal reasons.
‘My personal life needed to be tended to,’ she explained to the New York Times at the time.
MailOnline has approached both Laurence and Gina’s representatives for comment.
The couple are parents to 10-year-old daughter Delilah and were married in 2002 at the Cloisters in Upper Manhattan.
Laurence was previously married to Hajna O. Moss from 1985 to 1990, with whom he had two children Langston (30) and Montana (26) – who are stepchildren to Gina.
Laurence and Gina have acted together in various projects over time, namely The Matrix Reloaded in 2003 and more recently in the TV show Hannibal from 2013 to 2015.
