R. Kelly Cancels ‘After Party’ Tour Dates After Reports He’s Running a Sex Cult

The singer canceled four shows Monday, but is scheduled to perform six times in August and October.

R. Kelly has canceled four shows on his After Party tour amid allegations that he’s brainwashing and holding women hostage in a sex cult.

According to The Fader, Ticketmaster has listed Kelly’s Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Dallas shows as canceled. A Los Angeles date still appears on the ticketing website, but is canceled on the venue’s website.

The news comes after BuzzFeed report quoted several concerned parents stating that Kelly was brainwashing their daughters and holding them in a cult. A woman, who claimed to have been in a relationship with Kelly, corroborated the claims in an interview with Jezebel.

Kelly initially claimed that he would continue touring despite the allegations, but that looks to be changing.
