Young Trump Supporter Cleans Graffiti Off President’s Hollywood Star; Says, ‘I Have Nothing But Respect for My President’

A supporter of President Trump paused this week to clean graffiti off the former television personality’s Hollywood star.

The president’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been the subject of repeated vandalism since Trump was a candidate for the nation’s highest office.

Weeks before the November election last year, a man dressed as a construction worker smashed the star using a sledge hammer and pickax. The man was sentenced for vandalism.

Before that, last July, a California street artist placed a miniature wall around the star – a jab at Trump’s high-profile vow to build a massive barrier between the U.S. and Mexico.

In June, the star was covered with #Resist stickers during a protest in California.

The decision to clean up the president’s star this week drew the attention of Fox News host Sean Hannity, a steadfast Trump ally himself.

“Wow. Great American. @CNN @NBCNews @JoeNBC (who calls the @POTUS a schmuck, liar, goon etc.). Watch and learn what respect for the office is,” Hannity wrote on Twitter, referencing “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough.
