One man, President Donald Trump, has turned all of major news media upside down. CNN is in disarray. New York Times staffers are walking out. MSNBC just fires Greta Van Susteren on the same day Trump, Mika Brzezinski, and Joe Scarborough finally get into it. The thing that the media and the liberal community do not understand about Trump is that he is a person who wants to get along, but he is wired in such a way that he thrives off of opposition. They do not understand that the best way to deal with Trump is not to oppose him, because if you oppose him, he will win.
Greta Van Susteren is leaving MSNBC only six months after her show debuted on the cable news network.
“I am out at MSNBC,” she tweeted Thursday.
Her pithy social media announcement landed at virtually the same moment Vanity Fair reported the news.
“They let her go,” her husband, John Coale, told CNNMoney. He said she’d found out earlier today, and added, “We’re working out contract issues now.”
In a memo to staffers, MSNBC President Phil Griffin said, “MSNBC and Greta Van Susteren have decided to part ways. Greta is a well-regarded television veteran and one of only a few broadcasters who can say they’ve hosted shows at all three major cable news networks. We are grateful to her and wish her the best.”
Griffin also announced that Ari Melber, MSNBC’s chief legal correspondent, will take over the 6 p.m. hour that had been Van Susteren’s.
As evidenced by Coale’s comments, it appears that the news arrived abruptly on Thursday even for Van Susteren herself. A friend of Van Susteren’s told CNNmoney that she was given no prior notice of the decision.

New York Times staffers stage walkout in support of copy editors
Copy editors at the New York Times usually stay behind the scenes. Not on Thursday.
Scores of newsroom staffers staged an afternoon walkout of the Times’ New York office, protesting plans to dramatically reduce the paper’s editing staff.
“They say cutbacks, we say fight back,” employees yelled as they circled the building, carrying signs that read “Copy editors save our buts” and “Without us, it’s the New Yrok Times.”
Executive Editor Dean Baquet and Managing Editor Joe Kahn announced last month that they will offer buyouts to their newsroom employees.

Three journalists leaving CNN after retracted article
Three CNN journalists, including the executive editor in charge of a new investigative unit, have resigned after the publication of a Russia-related article that was retracted.
Thomas Frank, who wrote the story in question; Eric Lichtblau, an editor in the unit; and Lex Haris, who oversaw the unit, have all left CNN.
“In the aftermath of the retraction of a story published on CNN.com, CNN has accepted the resignations of the employees involved in the story’s publication,” a spokesman said Monday evening.
An internal investigation by CNN management found that some standard editorial processes were not followed when the article was published, people briefed on the results of the investigation said.

CNN producer caught admitting media’s on ‘witch hunt’ against Trump
A CNN producer acknowledged in an undercover video that the cable news network has been creating fake news against President Trump for the past five months.
In a video released by Project Veritas, CNN supervising producer John Bonifield admitted that stories about Russia colluding with the Trump administration have no factual proof. Bonifield has worked for CNN as a journalist and producer for 15 years.
As TMZ reported, “Bonifield says CNN doesn’t have the goods, but its nonstop coverage (about Russia) is all about attracting viewers. … It’s being covered to death for ratings.”
Produced and narrated by James O’Keefe, founder of Project Veritas, the video indicates that CNN makes news decisions to cater to their liberal viewers. “Our goal is to expose the real motivations behind the decision-making process at our dominant media corporations,” he said.
