Jerry Seinfeld still believes in stranger danger.

The legendary comedian, who turned down a hug from Kesha on the red carpet earlier this week, said he won’t embrace just anyone.

“When you get to be my age and you’ve done a couple things, you have your own reality. In my reality, I don’t hug a total stranger,” Seinfeld told Extra.

A viral video from Monday’s National Night of Laughter and Song showed the “Blah Blah Blah” singer approach the comedian for a hug.

He politely refused.

Off-camera, the two were properly introduced, Seinfeld said.
