Former Dallas Police Chief David Brown to Discuss New Book, “Called to Rise,” at 7:30 p.m. at Winspear Opera House In Dallas, Texas

Former Dallas Police Chief David Brown has a big stage to launch his memoir.

Called to Rise: A Life in Faithful Service to the Community That Made Me is scheduled to be released by Ballantine on June 6. The next night, at 7:30, he’ll appear onstage at the Winspear Opera House in a conversation moderated by Keven Ann Willey, vice president and Editorial Page editor of The Dallas Morning News. 

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday at attpac.org, by calling  214-880-0202 or at the Winspear Opera House box office. Tickets range from $26 to $76 and include an autographed book.
