CNN’s Reza Aslan Apologizes for Using Profanity to Describe President Trump

CNN host Reza Aslan apologized Sunday night for calling President Trump “a piece of [expletive]” in a tweet.

“I should not have used a profanity to describe the President when responding to his shocking reaction to the #LondonAttacks,” Aslan, who hosts CNN’s documentary series “Believer,” tweeted on Sunday.

The offending tweet came after Trump sent out a Twitter message Saturday night in response to that evening’s deadly London attack, using the incident to tout his travel ban, among other things.
