VaShawn Mitchell’s “Joy” Hits Number 1 on Gospel Radio

VaShawn Mitchell’s Joy strikes a chord with radio as it makes its way to the top of the radio charts. Joy is the lead single from Secret Place, Mitchell’s seventh album released last year.

Joy has spent 13 weeks in the top 5 on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay in addition to six weeks at number one on the Mediabase chart. That has been further fueled by 2 million Vevo views and 3 million plus audio streams.

Mitchell takes the message to the masses with performances at the Most Powerful Voices Concert and the Power to End Stroke event. June dates include the Family Fest & Memorial Day concert in Columbia, SC, Chicago Gospel Music Festival, Gospel Music Association’s Immerse Conference in Nashville, TN and the Rejoice Music Soul Food Fest in VA.
