Why Has the Bathroom become an Issue of Civil Rights?

American society is devolving into absolute spiritual and moral chaos. As Americans, we continually look back at sin because there are monetary benefits in sinning. If not, individuals would not sin. Of course, this is precisely why in the State of North Carolina the conversation concerning the bathroom is about monetary loses and political “B.S.”, not spirituality or morality. However, it is recorded: “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” (1 Timothy 6: 10). God told Lot and his family “don’t look back” at sin! In fact, the spiritual-moral decadence over the “so-called-issue” of gender identity concerning bathroom facilities is a glaring example of “looking back” at sin (Genesis 19: 1-26). The bathroom is a “biological-functionary-excretion” issue, not an issue of Civil Rights or gender equality. Why, then has the bathroom in the twenty-first century been elevated as an issue of “gender equality” and “Civil Rights”? In other words, why have “urine and feces” become an issue of Civil Rights rather than biological functions?

In the Bible, it is recorded that King Solomon was the wisest man to have lived simply because he asked God for wisdom in order to lead others by example(s). King Solomon did not ask God for money (wealth). But, God gave Solomon enormous wealth because he asked God for the right thing. By the way, a positive example is the greatest teacher. Without a doubt, America is setting some ungodly examples for its children as well as future generations. King Solomon declared: “I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon. Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me:” (Song of Solomon 1: 5-6). Question: Is it logical that one bright and glorious morning King Solomon would awaken and boldly declare that he was White and no longer Black? Especially since his blackness was a part of his biological identity (DNA)! America, hear me well! God does not make mistakes because God is perfect in righteousness and “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Proverbs 14: 34). For after all, it is sin which causes all human beings to be imperfect, but we must strive for perfection in doing the Will of God (Two Great Commandments): “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. And this is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 22: 37-40).

Sin produces vanity. Vanity fosters lust of the flesh. As a matter of fact, what is vanity to one individual is reality to another. Unfortunately, in some individuals, reality and vanity form a marriage of confusion, and these individuals then live in a delusional state of being. Remember Christians: “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” (1 Corinthians 14: 33). Individuals confuse themselves with their own ungodly interpretations and imaginations; and, thus, God has told us not to interpret take the “Word of God” for what it is: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me.” (John 14: 6). More importantly, God states emphatically: “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee: and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee.” (Jeremiah 1: 5). Unfortunately, in some instances, parents, extended family members, environmental socialization, and peer group influences created internal confusion in some individuals. And, there are some parents who desire a female child and a male child is “born” and through parental socialization they oftentimes confuse the child, but God and the doctor were not confused: they know what came forth from the mother’s womb. Whatever the case maybe, don’t blame God; and don’t be too hard on yourself either. But, “through-it-all” always remember it is “still” about “free-will” CHOICE.  “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:” (Proverbs 23: 7).

The spiritual confusion that is running rampant in American society concerning “public” bathroom usage is directly linked to the breakdown of the nuclear family, Christian pastoral leadership, lack of Biblical “expository” teaching/preaching, the loss of sacredness in American Christianity, political immorality (hooking-crooking), and “ungodliness” in public educational institutions.  This Biblical scriptural verse is absolutely revelatory: “His watchmen are blind: they are ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down loving to slumber.” (Isaiah 56: 10). The breakdown of sacredness in American society has produced an insatiable desire for spiritually inappropriate “human” interpersonal relationships; even bestiality is promoted in certain sectors of American society. Public bathroom usage is not an issue of “public policy”. Moreover, when interpersonal relationships between God, individuals, and families spiritually-morally breakdown “urine and feces” hit the fan, and “human-feces” flies everywhere. Above all, life in American society has begun to “STINK” to High Heaven, and its foul smell is then sent to hell.

TO BE OR NOT TO BE IS THE QUESTION! To be what you are is the real thing. To be what you “think” you “want to be”, in fact, may be different from what God created you to be; or, in fact, what the doctor told your parents you were since he was the first one to see your anatomy. The Bathroom is designed for the elimination of waste “death” (urine and feces). Eating (food) and drinking (water) sustains life. This is why Jesus said: “If you continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8: 31-32). TRUTH makes us free and lies enslave us to sinning. Hence, Jesus told us: “Why seek ye the living among the dead?” (Luke 24:5). Behold America, stop looking for life, and life more abundantly in the bathroom, especially in the midst of that which is dead. The word of God is crystal clear, in Biblical times it was “Hear O Israel”. In the twenty first century the Word of God is still crystal clear, “Hear O America”: “Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.” (1 Timothy 5:22). Sin is about motives (choices), and therefore, every individual has his/her own sin(s) that must be given in account of to God. Selah!
