Now, here’s a short description of the book, “Food, Health, and Happiness”
Oprah Winfrey will be the first to tell you, she has had a complicated relationship with food. It’s been both a source of delight and comfort for her, but also the cause of an ongoing struggle with her weight. In Food, Health, and Happiness, Oprah shares the recipes that have allowed eating to finally be joyful for her. With dishes created and prepared alongside her favorite chefs, paired with personal essays and memories from Oprah herself, this cookbook offers a candid, behind-the-scenes look into the life (and kitchen!) of one of the most influential and respected celebrities in the world. Delicious, healthy, and easy to prepare, these are the recipes Oprah most loves to make at home and share with friends and family. From simple pleasures like Unfried Chicken and Turkey Chili, to such celebrations of freshness as Tuscan Kale and Apple Salad and Pasta Primavera, this is food as it should be: a taste of happiness, a ritual to be shared, a toast to life.

Here’s a short description of the book, “Jump: Take the Leap of Faith to Achieve Your Life of Abundance”
The number-one New York Times bestselling author shares the secret of his success and teaches you how to achieve the blessed full life that belongs to you
On January 13, 2016, at the close of a taping of Family Feud, Steve Harvey spontaneously began to speak. Not knowing that the cameras were still rolling, the $100 million-dollar host offered his studio audience insights into his own happiness and success. His staff, also moved by Steve’s passionate words, shared the riveting six-minute video on social media. The clip immediately went viral, with more than 58 million views worldwide!
In this very personal and illuminating guide, the #1 New York Times bestselling author elaborates on those spontaneous remarks. His message is simple: You need to JUMP like your life depends on it—because it does—if you truly want a life of peace and abundance.
Jump explores seven vulnerable “seasons” in the Emmy Award-winner life: being homeless and living out of his car, flunking out of college, enduring the emotional turmoil of a second failed marriage, risking stability to pursue his dream of television stardom, overcoming the Miss Universe mishap, blending his family, and owing the Internal Revenue Service $20 million. Steve uses these uncomfortable moments to explain his core principles and teach you what it means to JUMP:
· Identifying the lesson and the blessing in all that life brings our way;
· Isolating particular moments when we must be still and when we must take action;
· Implementing “humble aggression” to achieve our dreams;
· Placing past mistakes in our rearview mirror and creating a fresh life story;
· Letting go of people who are weighing us down;
· Taking responsibility in the face of adversity.
At the heart of this mesmerizing read is faith—the confidence in knowing that leaping will elevate our lives, and that we will be caught when we fall. Don’t stand on the cliff of life and watch others soar by, Steve tells us. If you take a leap of faith, God will open your parachute and “Give you life more abundantly.”
Life is an incredible journey. It’s not good enough to exist—you need to live. You need to JUMP—to take a leap of faith, a risk toward the rich life God has planned for you.

Now, here’s a short description of the book, “Fighting Together”
Marriage is a beautiful union ordained by God that is unfortunately under great attack in our society. Our world can only be as strong as the nations. The nations can only be as strong as its communities. The communities can only be as strong as its families, and families can only be as strong as the marriages. If the marriages fail, then so goes the families, the communities, the nations, and the world. Cornelius and Heather have joined together to combat this attack by encouraging husbands and wives to fight together instead of fighting each other. They share many of their personal stories about contemplating divorce, healing their marriage, and learning how to balance family life and ministry. You can expect to learn the principles of fighting together, defining the purpose of your marriage, the significance of Husbands leading, as Wives fulfill the role of Helpmeet, and much more.
Now, here’s a brief review of the book, “Fighting Together”
A must read for married couples. This book is filled with godly wisdom and advice on how to face and deal with typical issues in marriage including trust, healing, finances, extended family, and intimacy. It encourages couples to fight together for their marriage instead of tearing each other down. Though they do not tout themselves to be marriage experts, this husband and wife team transparently share their experiences with the aim of changing minds and hearts. We highly recommend this book.

All of these books can be found online at Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com. Support these authors by buying their books, sharing them with your friends, or sending the author a note of thanks as they continue to fulfill the command in Habakkuk 2:2 which states “write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
Remember, if you don’t know Christ as Saviour, John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” If you want to trust Christ as your Saviour, believe in your heart that he died, was buried, and rose from the dead for you. Pray and ask Him to come into your heart today, and He will.
For the saints, “Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh.”
