On November 8th, 2016 the American people elected a bigoted, xenophobic, sexist, racist, masochist, religious bigot, and above all, wealthy businessman without a common touch to the Office of Presidency. Out of the 300 million Americans, the American electorate chose Donald J. Trump to be the President of these United States of America. Shame! Shame! Shame! But, more importantly, President Trump is also representing the image of democratic leadership of the “free world”. Shame! Shame! Shame! It has been said, and it is a profound truth: “Elections Have Consequences”. The election of Donald J. Trump to the office of president is a consequence that neither America nor the world needed! Shame! Shame! Shame!
Unfortunately, most of America’s institutions as we know them “today” will invariably be changed negatively, not positively. When the President does not believe in, nor trust America’s National Security Intelligence Agencies, we have a “monumental” national security problem. Question: Whose intelligence does the President Trump trust? Or does the President lean toward his own “misguided” understanding? “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Proverbs 3: 5-6). Shame! Shame! Shame!
American society is experiencing a spiritual-moral-crisis of presidential leadership governance unlike any other in its history. Getting elected to the office of President does not necessarily mean that you are a “qualified-moral-leader”. In fact, America’s current presidential leadership mentality is that of a “Third-World-Nation” that is a graveyard “dictatorial” mentality and one that is not befitting of the most spiritually enlightened democracy on the planet. Presidential leadership is about character, morality, intellectual integrity, and spiritual conscience, not political chicanery. Shame! Shame! Shame!
A Free Press is the “spiritual-moral-intellectual” foundation of social democracy, and without a Free Press a nation devolves into a dictatorial societal structure. Checks and balances are extremely important in any civilized society; especially a democratic society. God has already given us a “blue-print” for a moral society. “The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.” (Psalms 68: 11). The presidential declaration of “Fake News” and that the “Press” is the enemy of the American people is a diversionary tactic designed to cover-up (deflect) “political-economic-corruption”, and at the same time, create an atmosphere for “White Nationalism” subliminally suggesting that America was built by Whites for Whites. And, now America is too multi-cultural on the Black-side. Without a doubt, this is an absolute “BALD-FACE-LIE”. America was built on the backs of free slave labor. If you do not believe me, I beseech you to visit the National Civil Rights Museum in Washington, D. C., and above all, read the dedicatory speech of former President George W. Bush on September 24th, 2016. Shame! Shame! Shame!
Question: Why was Donald J. Trump elected to the office of the Presidency? The answer to the question is “confirmation-bias” that is there are a lot of Americans who simply believe what they want to believe; even though it is not grounded in the reality of the TRUTH. For example, the rationale of many individuals that voted for President Trump was the false promise of high paying JOBS; Jobs that require high levels of skills, as well as, technical training, not a high school diploma. In fact, the Jobs that have been outsourced to foreign countries can be performed by any individual with minimal formal levels of education, because the jobs are based upon non-skilled repetition. Shame! Shame! Shame!
Time marches on and twenty-first century technological progress doesn’t wait on any individual. Everything must change and nothing remains the same. Therefore, living in the past with notions of “White Privilege” on your mind is a recipe for national disaster. America is a multi-cultural society like it or not. Moreover, it is what it is. Therefore, White males stop crying and complaining, get technically trained, because you know better, want better; therefore do better. Work is the “gift of God” to man, as well as, family (Genesis 3: 17-19). For after all, in the Black community the family structure has been literally destroyed, because of the inability of too many Black men to acquire meaningful work. And, we all know who is responsible for these societal conditions. All Americans should prayerfully embrace this scripture: “Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.” (Isaiah 1: 17). Shame! Shame! Shame!
What is spiritually troubling about the election of Donald J. Trump to the office of Presidency is the percentage of White female voters college educated and non-college educated who voted for President Trump; especially after in his own words he “vividly” described his disrespect for women: “The Billy Bush Video Tape”. Of course, “Every way of man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord pondereth the hearts.” (Proverbs 21: 2). Every woman needs to spiritually understand that she is a free interdependent moral being, because “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4). God created a woman; not man, because when God called Eve into being Adam was sleep. (Genesis 2: 18-25). Therefore, it was somewhat surprising that so many White women identify with tenets of “White Privilege” rather than who God says they are. In the sight of God men and women are of “equal” human dignity regardless of skin-color.
During Trump’s political campaign he declared that Mexicans who were illegally entering America were rapists, robbers, and killers. Moreover, some “Trump-supporters” have designated illegal immigrants as “Illegal Aliens” from some other planet, and not as human beings who are hard workers, family centered, “Christian-Oriented” with a “simple” desire to work for an honest wage because of economic conditions in their countries of origin. But, we all know, that Mexicans and other Latin American Hispanics are victims of cheap labor “conspiracies” on the part of American Capitalism. But, more importantly, lest we forget, when President Trump was publicly asked about Putin being a killer, he invariably declared that America is a killer as well. Without a doubt, “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Proverbs 14: 34).
