Sen. Tim Scott is calling on African-American communities to give President-elect Donald Trump a chance to govern, and judge him on “what he does” in the White House.

“Let’s give Mr. Trump a chance,” he urged.

Asked if he believes Trump can bridge the gap in places where there were accusations the president-elect played on fears to get elected, Scott said fear was a part of both sides of the aisle.”
