Obama Family Releases Final White House Christmas Card

The First Family has a long, iconic tradition of delivering beautiful holiday cards to us every year, and 2016 is no exception. However, this year is very bittersweet: Because Donald Trump will be taking office in January, 2016 is the final year we will receive a holiday card from the Obama family.

The only consolation we get is the fact that 2016’s card is perhaps the most fabulous one of them all. Photographs of the Obama family’s final holiday card starting popping up all over the Internet last night; The Shade Room snagged one and uploaded it to its Instagram page with the caption, “Yass our #FirstFamily slayed!” And boy did they ever. Here’s a clearer look at the picture because I just can’t get enough of it. Also, how cool is it that people literally get this card sent to their homes? They really are our First Family! (Here come the water works again.)

Over a million go out and I still feel special. Really gonna miss this #FirstFamily!
