The man who admitted to fatally shooting former NFL player Joe McKnight has been arrested and charged with manslaughter. Ronald Gasser is said to have told sheriff’s officials that he killed 28-year-old McKnight in Terrytown, Louisiana, last week during a road-rage incident, firing three shots from the inside of his vehicle. McKnight was reported to have been unarmed. According to Jefferson Parish booking documents, Gasser, 54, was arrested Monday, and officials said they will hold a Tuesday press conference to discuss his charges. Officials had taken Gasser into custody after the shooting, but then released him without charges.
