Sony bombarded PlayStation users with more than 40 games in an hourlong, E3-in-December keynote this afternoon. Let’s call out what’s on the horizon:
- Uncharted 4 is getting a new chapter: The Lost Legacy. The stars are Chloe Frazier and Nadine Ross.
- The Last of Us Part 2 is confirmed. Ellie is back; apparently so is Joel.
- What was rumored to be Marvel vs. Capcom 4 is now official, and it’s called Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, thanks very much.
- And btw, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, MIA from both consoles’ marketplaces since 2013, is back on PlayStation 4.
- Let It Die, the newest game from Suda 51 and Grasssshoper Manufacture, is free on PlayStation 4, right now. What is it? Imagine the Dark Souls franchise wrapped in a futurisitic punk motif.
- Crash Bandicoot is remastered in the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, coming next year.
- Destiny‘s December update will bring back Sparrow racing. At last!
- There was another trailer for Horizon: Zero Dawn.
- Windjammers, the frisbee-flinging Neo-Geo game old enough to drink now, is coming to PS4 and PS Vita.
- The Resident Evil 7 demo — its last — is out now for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR.
- Knack is back, sweeping up snack packs in Knack 2.
- PlayStation’s futuristic racing series Wipeout is returning with a remastered collection on PlayStation 4.
- Akuma joins the Street Fighter 5 roster on Dec. 20
- Lara Croft Go, the Tomb Raider entry in Square Enix’s well-executed mobile lineup, comes to PlayStation 4.
