The relationship between a woman and her ex’s new girlfriend is usually a contentious one, especially when there’s a kid involved and the child becomes the centerpiece for a power play between the two women in the father’s life. But does it have to be that way? Mother and divorcee Audrey Nicole doesn’t think so.
Nicole recently posted a photo of her daughter, Riley Grace, making funny faces with her ex’s new girlfriend on the Love What Matters Facebook page. In the caption, she wrote that she was “super thankful” for her ex’s girlfriend because when her daughter visits her dad, his girlfriend “feeds her, takes care of her, buys her gifts, and basically takes care of her like her own.”
