Christian Couple Refused Adoption In Britain After Expressing Concerns About the Children Being Raised by a Homosexual Couple

A Christian couple in Britain has been rejected for adoption of their two foster children after expressing concerns about the children being raised by a gay couple, according to The London Telegraph.

The foster parents had previously received good evaluations and had been praised for their care of the children.

When they learned the children in their care might be adopted by a gay couple, they were shocked and asked if it was a joke.

They said that children need a mother and father.

Social services told the couple that their adoption request would not be considered, because the couple said they believe children require a “mummy and daddy.”

Officials told them their views about gay parenting were “concerning” and “could be detrimental to the long-term needs of the children.”

The unnamed couple are now appealing the decision.
