Jesse Jackson Campaigning for Clinton in Greensboro


Former President Bill Clinton will campaign in Greensboro on Sunday.

Clinton will hold a rally in the afternoon to discuss his wife Hillary Clinton’s economic plans and to encourage early voting, according to the Democratic nominee’s campaign.

Further details, including location, are not available yet.

In other election news, the Rev. Jesse Jackson will be in Greensboro today promoting early voting and the city’s new early voting sites.

Jackson, a Baptist minister and former contender for the Democratic presidential nomination, will speak at the Greensboro campaign office at 2300 West Meadowview Road in Suite 103 at 3 p.m.

He will speak with volunteers and supporters before they go canvass the city’s neighborhoods.
