Donald Trump’s Georgia campaign executive director resigned Tuesday after his criminal past was revealed, WSB-TV reported. “Today we accepted the resignation of the Trump-Pence campaign’s Georgia State Director Brandon Phillips,” Trump spokesman Jason Miller told the Atlanta-based news outlet. Phillips reportedly pleaded guilty to criminal trespassing charges after admitting he destroyed a person’s laptop and slashed the tires of another person. He was arrested in 2008, WSB-TV learned, and was arrested on battery and felony criminal damage charges.
