Citing Scripture, President Obama Praises U.S. Resilience on 15th Anniversary of 9/11

During an address in Washington D.C. on the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, President Obama emphasized the United States’ resilience as a nation. “Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you,” he said, citing Scripture. “Bind them around your neck. Write them on the table of your heart.” The president also emphasized that America’s strength lies in its diversity and enemies should not divide us.
