The NYPD Emerald Society Pipes & Drums led a lower Manhattan memorial procession to start a weekend of events commemorating the 15th anniversary of 9/11.
The marchers, including Mayor de Blasio and soon-to-be ex-Police Commissioner Bill Bratton, walked down Broadway from Cedar St. to the New York City Police Memorial in Battery Park City.
Four memorial wreaths stood at the Friday memorial on a muggy afternoon, with some attendees clutching photos of fallen officers.
