Alicia Keys is a woman with a message. Actually, she’s a woman with several. From her advocacy against police brutality to her personal no-makeup campaign, she stands up for plenty of causes.
Less than a week after dazzling at the Video Music Awards, she appeared on the Today Show, where her decision not to wear makeup was brought up.
Al Roker, Billy Bush, and Tamron Hall decided to join her, though she was careful to say, “You don’t have to!”
She went on to say that her stand is “about being who you are and not letting anyone tell you who you should be.”
