Mary J. Blige is set to guest star on How to Get Away With Murder, EW has confirmed.

The Grammy award-winning singer will appear in the third season of the ABC drama. Though details around Blige’s role remain murky, creator Shonda Rhimes has already teased a mysterious new plot line for the twist-packed show. In a promo that premiered exclusively on EW, law professor Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) is taunted by an unknown perpetrator plastering posters of her face with the word “killer” all over campus.

Blige has done well to dip into acting as of late. After a stint in the season one finale of Black-ish last May, she went on to star as Eveline in ABC’s The Wiz Live! special in December. The part nabbed her a Critics’ Choice nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie Made for Television or Limited Series. She’s next set to land in the Dee Rees-directed Mudbound, which is slated for release in 2017.
