Tyler Perry Could Care Less About What Haters Think of His ‘Too Close to Home’ Cast

Tyler Perry’s has words for the folks who have a problem with the lack of color in his new TLC series “Too Close to Home.”

Approached by TMZ Monday night outside of Craig’s in West Hollywood, the filmmaker was asked his thoughts about people who lament the absence of black folks in the eight-part series.

“Are you really asking me about that,” Perry told the pap, appearing annoyed.

“If you write a story about a woman and a man who’s having pain and issues and trying to get over things, it’s the same way for a black person as a white person or anybody else, so that’s just ridiculous,” he added.
