A former adviser of President Barack Obama called the Democratic Party’s platform on abortion immoral and indefensible, insisting that it could possibly silence anyone who stands in its way – especially those advocating traditional sexual morality.
After leading Obama’s outreach to evangelicals in 2012 and attending last week’s Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Michael Wear expressed that the platform – touted by the official Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, and her running mate, Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) – is deplorable in regards to abortion.
“It’s morally reprehensible,” Wear told the Catholic News Agency after being asked about the Democrats’ official abortion stance.
Abortion or bust
The party’s extreme pro-abortion agenda that it has vowed to carry out will aggressively champion the killing of preborn children in numerous ways.
“The 55-page platform promises Democrats [that] officials will ‘stand up’ for Planned Parenthood, fund abortion nationwide and around the world, ‘overturn’ state and federal restrictions on abortion, and crank up the legal pressure against pro-life sidewalk counselors,” LifeSiteNews.com reports.
