Four people have died after a Dallas Cowboys bus collided with another vehicle Sunday on a highway in northwestern Arizona.
The team bus was on Highway 93 headed to a fan event in Las Vegas when it collided with a van about 1:30pm, authorities said.
An initial investigation indicated the van was making an illegal left turn onto the highway when it crashed with the bus, KTVN reported.
The four deceased, who are yet to be identified, were riding on the van. It is unclear if others were injured.
No players were on the bus. The four people on it were the driver, Cowboys mascot Rowdy, a team videographer and Cowboys sports writer Mickey Spagnola.
No one on the bus was reported injured.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the collision occurred about 30 miles north of the city of Kingman.
At least one lane of the highway had been shut down.
Highway US 93 is the main route between Phoenix and Las Vegas.
