He’s saying Hanks a million, mom.
Tom Hanks paid tribute to his late mother Janet Marylyn Frager on Instagram Tuesday following her death at the age of 84.
“This beauty? My mom,” he captioned a glamorous old portrait of Frager.
“She was the difference in many lives. Many lives. We say goodbye to her today. Safe crossing, mom!” the Oscar-winner wrote.
The “Forrest Gump” star’s wife, Rita Wilson, also shared an image of her husband alongside his mom.
“This wonderful lady gave birth to my husband, and three other children,” Wilson wrote.
“Thank you for bringing my love into the world. She is at peace now.”
Hanks’ mother’s passing comes just days after he celebrated his 60th birthday on July 9.
Frager welcomed Hanks into the world in Concord, Calif. She previously had a career as a hospital worker, according to IMDb.
