Ciara is fearful that her ex-fiancé will kill her current fiancé, according to recently filed court documents.
TMZ reports the “1,2 Step” singer detailed several of Future’s messages that she deemed as real threats to Russell Wilson. In one message, Ciara points out a tweet from her ex that shows several football emojis and a gun pointed in that direction.
She claims threats were made several times, including apparent references in a song Future released last month in which he raps about “pulling up” on someone, which is street slang for a drive-by.
Ciara called the threats “frightening” and “socially irresponsible …[when] there has been a recent rash of gun violence,” says TMZ, which has reportedly seen the documents.
Ciara and Future share a son together, baby Future.
The court papers were filed and added to her $15 million defamation and slander lawsuit against her ex, in which she says Future is destroying her reputation, as well as Russell’s.
She claims that Future has bashed the engaged couple in multiple interviews and on social media. She alleges that he’s dragging their names through the mud to promote his own music.
In the suit, Ciara calls out Future for a radio interview in which he discussed a paparazzi photo of Russell pushing Ciara and Future’s son in his stroller. In the interview Future said, “She probably set him up. You letting them catch that photo. Leave my son out of all the publicity stunts.”
The suit cited other times in which he used profane language about her.
