PROPHECY BOOTCAMP: Our topic for today is titled “The Winepress of the Wrath of God (Part 2)” from Dr. Ed Hindson’s book “Revelation: Unlocking the Future.”
Three angels fly across the sky, one after another, making dramatic and climactic announcements. These are followed by a fourth announcement from heaven itself. Each of these is a proleptic remark. Each serves as a summary statement (preview) of what is to follow.
The first angel says, “Fear God, give Him glory… and worship Him”.
The first angel flies across the horizon with the everlasting gospel to preach to all nations. The gospel is the same gospel as is always declared in the New Testament. To try to make it anything else is to miss the point altogether! Paul said, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed.”

OCCUPY TILL I COME: We are continuing our journey through the book, “Coming Events and Present Duties,” by J.C. Ryle. This section is titled, “Occupy Until I Come!” (Part 5) based on the parable of the nobleman who went away and left talents for his servants to use in his absence in Luke 19:11-13. J.C. Ryle writes:
I beseech you not to dismiss the subject which I now press upon your attention, as a matter of curious speculation, and one of no practical importance. Believe me, it affects the whole question between yourself and the unconverted Jew. I warn you, that unless you interpret the prophetic portion of the Old Testament in the simple, literal meaning of its words — you will find it no easy matter to carry on an argument with an unconverted Jew.
