Lily-Rose Depp, Johnny Depp’s 17-year-old daughter, has defended her dad on Instagram without explicitly saying he is innocent.
Since Amber Heard was granted a restraining order against Johnny Depp, Lily-Rose posted a screengrab Sunday of a news story that said: “There was no evidence of any crime” and “The person reporting the crime [Heard] did not insist on a report…”
Before that, Lily-Rose posted a throwback photo, presumably of herself and her father, with this caption: “My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know…”
According to TMZ, Lily-Rose’s mother and Johnny’s former partner, Vanessa Paradis, also showed her support for Johnny, in a letter.
“Johnny Depp… is a sensitive, loving and loved person, and I believe in all my heart that these recent allegations being made are outrageous,” she wrote. “In all the years I have known Johnny, he has never been physically abusive with me…”
