Planned Parenthood has declared that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is the “biggest threat” it faces this election year, according to a fundraising announcement the taxpayer-funded abortion provider sent to its supporters last week via email.
In her latest attempt to round up opposition to evangelicals’ favorite pro-life candidate, Planned Parenthood Action Fund Executive Vice President Dawn Laguens drew attention to Cruz’s strong stance against continuing federal funding of the abortion giant.
“Cruz could very well be the biggest threat we face,” the abortion activist wrote to prospective donors, according to LIfeSiteNews.
And why does Laguens argue that Cruz stands up for the sanctity of human life above and beyond the remaining two competitors in this year’s White House run?
“Because unlike Trump and Kasich, who are more or less in line with the Republican Party’s already terrible positions on reproductive rights, Cruz takes things much, much further,” the Planned Parenthood leader impressed to her donor base.
