2 Police Officers, 1 Civilian, and Gunman Shot at Greyhound Station in Richmond, VA


Richmond Police and Virginia State Police troopers are on the scene of a shooting at the Greyhound bus station on North Boulevard in Richmond. Richmond Police have confirmed that a shooting occurred.

No word yet on how many people were shot, however officials tell 8News Reporter Kerri O’Brien that possibly four people are either being treated at the scene or transported to the hospital.

According to state police, at 2:45 p.m., Virginia State Police were alerted to a shooting incident at the Greyhound Bus Station at 2910 N. Boulevard in the City of Richmond. Two Virginia State Police troopers and one female civilian have been transported to VCU Medical Center for treatment. The shooting suspect, who was shot by a state trooper, is in custody.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
