Faith In Action Miracle Center

Good Friday worship takes place on March 25, at 7:45 p.m., at 645 W. Arbor Vitae St., in Inglewood, said Pastor Jynona Norwood, who will preach along with the Rev. Dr. Barbara Reynolds and five local pastors.

Easter services will be held on Sunday, March 27, at 11:45 a.m., at 645 W. Arbor Vitae St., in Inglewood. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Dr. Reynolds, an elder at Greater Mount Calvary Holy Church in Washington, DC, and president and founder of the Harriet’s Anti-Drug Ministry. Dr. Reynolds is a co-founder of USA Today and has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show. Dr. Reynolds added that the worship will center on the faces of Jesus that have supernaturally appeared on the church walls.

The Liberty Church

Pastor David Cross begins his Easter Trilogy sermon series, featuring live animals, on Palm Sunday, March 20, at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Singles and grandmothers will be honored and gifts will be distributed including survival kits, CDs, and parenting booklets.

Also, there will be petting zoo and pony rides after each service and a carnival following the 11 a.m. worship. The Easter Trilogy continues on Sunday, March 27 and Sunday, April 3, at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Love, Peace and Happiness Christian Fellowship Church

Good Friday services will be held on March 25, at 11 a.m., at the church’s Los Angeles location at 4951 S. Figueroa St., and at 7 p.m., at the Downey location at 11022 Old River Rd., said Bishop Leon and Dr. Jacqueline Martin, spiritual leaders.

Several ministers of the church will deliver “The Seven Last Saying of Christ from the Cross” and Bishop Martin will preach “The Whip, the Hammer and the Cross.”

New Antioch Church of God in Christ

The Fine Arts Department presents “His Last Sayings: A Musical Interpretation of the Cross” on Wednesday, March 23, at 7:30 p.m., said Superintendent Jeffrey and Lady Floetta Lewis. Also, the Resurrection Walk takes place on Saturday, March, 26, at 10 a.m.

Trinity Baptist Church

Pastor Alvin Tunstill, Jr., and the members of Trinity Baptist will host “The Seven Last Words” on Good Friday, March 25, at 12 p.m., in the edifice located at 2040 W. Jefferson Blvd., in Los Angeles.

The preachers will be the Rev. Ronald Lewis, the Rev. Gina Ewell, the Rev. Douglas E. Nelson, the Rev. Feltus Frost, Elder Zaina Renè and Minister Dominique White.

The worship experience continues with a dramatic presentation during the Children’s Sunday School Program on Sunday, March 27, at 8:45 a.m. The Easter service starts at 10 a.m. Pastor Tunstill will deliver the message.
