When LeBron James and his production company signed a deal with Warner Bros. last year, the early buzz was that a sequel to “Space Jam” would soon be developed. There has been little momentum on that front to this point.
Maverick Carter, LeBron’s friend and business partner, recently told Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com that James’ production company SpringHill Entertainment has not discussed “Space Jam 2” in detail with Warner. President of SpringHill Jamal Henderson said much of the same, noting that the door is still open.
“It’d be crazy not to say that it’s something on the radar, it’s super on the radar, but it’s not something we have any news on,” Henderson said. “There’s no sort of start on it.”
